One person has died and another is in critical condition after gunfire erupted in Brooklyn early Thursday, cops said.

Around 5:30 a.m., a 29-year-old man was shot on Lewis Avenue near Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, authorities said.

He was rushed to Woodhull Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. It is unclear where the bullet struck him.

Meanwhile, a 31-year-old man, shot in the neck during the same incident, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Police are investigating the possibility that the men were involved in a shootout and struck each other, cops said.

In another unrelated gunplay incident around 1:30 a.m., a 19-year-old woman was walking on Avenue V near Coyle Street in Sheepshead Bay when she was shot in the right leg, cops said.

She claimed she heard shots and felt pain, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital by private means.

It was unclear whether she was the intended target.  No arrests have been made.
