Tom Hanks’ son Chet Hanks has been accused of physical and verbal abuse by his ex-girlfriend Kiana Parker. She is suing Hanks for $1 Million and claimed that she suffered “an ever-escalating pattern of domestic abuse.” Parker’s attorneys sued Hanks and announced the lawsuit during a press conference in Texas on Tuesday.
One of Kiana’s lawyers said, “This is about violence within the confines of a relationship between a man and a woman, a man who mentally and physically and psychologically battered, Kiana Parker.”
Chet’s ex-girlfriend filed the suit on Monday in Fort Bent County. The file also involves the incident on 8 January, which led Kiana to file a restraining order against Hanks.
As described in the lawsuit, on the night of Oct. 18, 2020, Chet became “aggressive and hostile” as Kiana wanted to leave the hotel room they were staying in. When she tried to leave, Hanks “grabbed her with great force, by her right arm causing instant pain. Defendant Hanks refused to release the grip, and as Parker sought to get out of the violent situation, Defendant Hanks pushed her with such force that Parker knocked over tables in the room.”
When Kiana tried to get away again, Hanks allegedly pushed her, called her a “ghetto black bitch” and broke her phone.
Kiana also claims that Chet warned her not to file a case. According to Kiana, he said that she should remember he was “Chet Hanks and she wasn’t shit, no one would believe her, she was just a ghetto black bitch.”
Kiana also revealed how Chet threatened her in front of her twins, to blow her brain in a murder-suicide. Later, the couple finally broke off, but Chet became aggressive and came after her with a knife while Kiana was moving out. Kiana protected herself by hitting him on his head with a pot.
As per Kiana’s lawyer, the suit would have been filed earlier and that they reached out to Hanks family multiple times, but they never heard back from them.
As of now, Chet Hanks hasn’t said anything regarding the suit against him. Instead, he revealed releasing his upcoming album early.
