In the recent reunion episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the Kardashian family opened about their personal life experiences. Kim also opened about her relationship with ex husband Kris Humphries and that she owes him an apology.

According to Kim, she “absolutely” owes an apology to Kris Humphries for poorly handling their divorce and marriage. Kim and Kris got married in 2011, and after 72 days of their marriage, Kim filed for a divorce which went on for a few years.

During the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reunion, Kim confessed that she attempted many times to apologize to her ex-husband for the way she handled their 72-day marriage and years-long divorce.

Kim told, “I was so nervous to break up with someone. I handled it totally the wrong way. I fully broke up with him in the worst way and I couldn’t — I just didn’t know how to deal. I learned so much from it… If I was mature, I would have wanted the annulment too.” She added, “I wish I was only married once.”

“I tried to (apologize to Kris). I tried calling him for months.” Kim also mentioned the time when she ran into Kris while she was out with her daughter North, but things did not go well. “I saw him and all of his friends got up from the table, we had the tables next to each other,” she said. “All of his friends got up and said hi to me and he literally just looked at me and like wouldn’t even speak to me.”

As explained by Kim, ex-husband Kris is “faith-based” and wanted an annulment instead of divorce, so that it wouldn’t be “on his record.” According to 40 year old entrepreneur, that was the reason why he claimed fraud in his filing, not because she “conned him into marriage”.

On the other hand, Kim’s sisters and mother stated during the interview that they didn’t feel Kris and Kim’s marriage would last, and hence they even suggested her get away the night before the wedding. Kim’s mother Kris Jenner told her, “Go. I’m going to put you in a car. No one will find you. Just leave, and I’ll handle it.”

However, Kim went ahead and got married as she didn’t want to bear the pressure of being call a runaway bride.

“I thought, ‘OK, everyone, you know, we’re filming this for a TV show. If I leave, I’m going to be known as the runaway bride forever and it’s going to be a huge joke’,” confessed Kim.
