Kristen Bell recently took a vow to support her husband Dax Shepard after his relapse in sobriety.
On Tuesday, the actress shared some happy news with her followers on social media. On her Instagram profile, she declared that she has just secured a leading role in the Netflix comedy “The Woman In The House”.
Kristen Bell, 40, will also serve as the executive producer of this series. It promises to be a comedic spin on thrillers such as “The Girl on the Train” and “The Woman in the Window”.
In this series, she will play a depressed woman called Anna who drinks wine everyday sitting at her window and watches life go by.
One fine day, Anna witnesses a murder inside a handsome neighbor’s home. But there are doubts regarding whether this murder took place at all.
Bell is currently on the fourth season of NBC’s “The Good Place”. There are rumors that she will star as the lead for HBO Max’s “Gossip Girl” reboot.
Last week, the actress spoke at length about how she and her husband are working together to deal with his relapse. The couple married in 2013 and has two daughters together.
She told Ellen DeGeneres last Wednesday that her husband needed to do some emotional work to figure out the reason behind his relapse.
