McDonald’s introduces’menu hacks’ inspired by customers

Are you unsure on what to order at McDonald’s? Simply combine a Big Mac, McChicken, and Filet-o-Fish into one massive sandwich.

Customers can choose from four different combinations of their favourites on the fast-food giant’s new “menu hacks,” which some weaker stomachs may find scary.

Breakfast lovers who like a Sausage McMuffin with egg and a hash brown can make a Hash Brown McMuffin by stacking one on top of the other.

The McNuggets on the side do not required to be eaten with a double cheeseburger. Instead, a “Crunchy Double” can be made by stuffing the nuggets and barbecue sauce under the bread.

There’s also the “Surf and Turf,” which combines a Filet-o-Fish with a double hamburger in one dish. The “Surf and Turf” can only be purchased through the app.

McDonald’s claimed it encouraged fans to come up with their own menu hacks and share them on social media. The Hash Brown McMuffin was created by Sarah Sandlin, a social media star.

“For years, I’ve been insisting that the Hash Brown goes inside the Sausage McMuffin with egg…that extra little crispy bite is the genuine morning cheat code,” she explained.

What began as a pilot programme in eight eateries has now expanded to 600 restaurants in and around San Francisco and Dallas-Fort Worth.

On Wednesday, a top analyst expressed surprise that McPlant sales exceeded his estimates.
