Netflix’s Ozark Season 3: Release Date And Complete Cast Details Out With Jason Bateman Returning

The question on every Ozark fan’s mind before the release of season three of the crime drama on Netflix is what does the future hold for the Byrde family?

In season two, Marty and Wendy get their hands so much dirtier than ever before – and it looks like the downward spiral is set to continue for a few years if director and star Jason Bateman has anything to do with it.

Ozark Season 3: When It Is Coming?

So, hold your breath, here is the good news!!! Ozark star Jason Bateman confirmed on social media that the show is returning for a third season, but the only bad news is that we still don’t know when it’s going to air on Netflix around the world.

“I’m happy for me, but concerned for Marty,” he wrote, “it’s official OZARK 3 is on its way”. In June, Ozark season 1 aired on Netflix, while season 2 released at the end of August 2018 – so, it is clear that production didn’t get underway on season three until March 2019, so hopefully, the third installment will be aired on Netflix early 2020.

Ozark Season 3: Cast

Netflix has announced that up-and-comer Madison Thompson (NCIS: New Orleans) joins the cast this year and will play Erin, Helen’s teenage daughter, “who gets dragged along to the Ozarks for some mother-daughter bonding that ends where neither expects,”

This year, some Marvel TV stars are joining the show. Tom Pelphrey and Jessica Frances Dukes, from Iron Fist and Jessica Jones respectively, are going to join the cast of Ozark.

Joseph Sikora and Felix Solis will also feature, while Janet McTeer, who plays Helen Pierce, and Lisa Emery (Darlene Snell) have been bumped, too. And also, the entire Byrde family are expected to return, including Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.

Ozark Season 3: What Else We Need To Know?

The show is going to run for five seasons said, Mundy. He said, “We have always thought about it for five seasons, not less than that.”

He doesn’t have any idea about how the show is going to end, but he hopes that Netflix will give an “emotional ending” to the show. And while season three’s release date is still to be confirmed, Netflix has revealed that star Laura Linney is set to lead another project.

Linney will star in new limited series Tales of the City, inspired by the books of Armistead Maupin. The series will be available to watch on Netflix from 7th June 2019.
