Rapper Iggy Azaela has announced that she has decided to take a break from music for a while. Azalea announced that she’s set to “take a few years” away from music after she releases her next album ‘End of an Era’.
Azaela is releasing her new record ‘End of an Era’ next month and the singer said that she is planning to take break from music to focus more on other creative projects. She said, “‘End of an Era’ is so special to me because after I drop my album next month i am going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m feeling passionate and inspired by, beyond music,”
Iggy tweeted. “I’m excited for you guys to see different sides to me in the future.”
Shifting my energy and focus to what I’m most excited about is what is right for me and I hope you’ll continue to support whatever creative projects I’m out here doing!
I really love this album and I just want my fans to enjoy this with me. I hope I see so many of you on tour!

Azalea continued writing, “Shifting my energy and focus to what I’m most excited about is what is right for me and I hope you’ll continue to support whatever creative projects I’m out here doing! I really love this album and I just want my fans to enjoy this with me. I hope I see so many of you on tour!”
The news has obviously saddened the fans of the 31-year-old rapper, but they do extend their support. One of the fans wrote commenting on Azaela’s tweet, “you always have something new and we love you for that.” Meanwhile another fan commented, “Looking forward to it! Will always support you no matter what.”
Before this, Azalea unveiled her video for new song “I Am The Stripclub” at the start of July, for which she was accused of “blackfishing.” The song became controversial because of Iggy’s look, which the rapper called “ridiculous and baseless”.
Other than that, Azaela also made it to news for coming out in support of Britney Spears over her recent conservatorship case. In July, Azaela confirmed Britney’s lack of freedom sharing one of Britney’s experience which she witnessed. She wrote at the time, “She is not exaggerating or lying. I saw her restricted from even the most bizarre & trivial things.”
