The Evil Within is a survival-based horror video game. It was created by Tango Game works and released by Bethesda Softworks. The game has created by the creator of the Resident Evil franchise, Shinji Miami, and was brought up for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One in October 2014.
The Evil Within is based on Sebastian Castellanos as he has to explore his way through scary locations and horrifying creatures. The game is played in a third-person perspective. The players fight with many ghost-like enemies and bosses, using guns and melee weapons, and find a way through the levels, skipping traps, using stealth, and finding hidden treasures.
The Evil Within got positive reviews when it was released. The positivity was mostly because of the game’s horror things and atmosphere and critics’ review was because of the game’s story and characters. A second part, The Evil Within 2 got released on October 13, 2017.
What is the story of The Evil Within?
The Evil Within has two games till now. However, the sales haven’t got enough from the second game to create a third game for the series. As a series, The Evil Within has many big and worse problems. Even of its successful games before, The Evil Within wasn’t that good to have a place in the horror genre. Like Resident Evil series has the insane zombies, the mansion, nemesis, Raccoon City, Jill, Leon, and Claire. Silent Hill has a scary ghost town where many unknown evils are present in every place. T
he Evil Within the characters is much more intrusive with the external horror in ways that don’t make any difference of them much of the time.

Will we ever get part 3?
Sebastian mostly isn’t interesting and probably never will be. The story of both games is often confused, unfocused, and only has only a few parts of greatness in their ending scenes which would be long enough to lose the interest in the gameplay itself, while they not even bring anything new to the series.
The release isn’t clear, there’s also no news about the game even being developed. Most people believe that the series has been canceled and that Ghost wire: Tokyo is the new franchise to it.
