The year 2020 is a year that people will remember for ages to come. In the year of a global pandemic, the screen for viewing movies became small. Most of the year passed, being home locked. Many movies got pushed to next year’s release, and those which released most of them didn’t have the theatrical release. Here is a list of the few best films of 2020 which could be enjoyed at home.

7500 – This is an action thriller film. The film is written and directed by Patrick Vollrath. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing the main character. He is shown as a pilot whose plane is hijacked by terrorists. This film is an international co-production between Germany, the US, and Australia. Birds of Prey – This is an American superhero film based on the DC Comics team, the Birds of Prey. Warner Bros. Pictures distributed the film. The DC Extended Universe is the 8th installment and a spin-off/sequel to Suicide Squad (2016). Cathy Yan directed the film, and Christina Hodson wrote the film. The film was released on January 25, 2020 (Mexico City), February 7, 2020 (United States).

The Vast of Night – This is an American science fiction mystery film. Andrew Patterson directed the film and Andrew Patterson and Craig W. Sanger wrote the film. Sierra McCormick and Jake Horowitz played the lead role. The film is set in 1950s New Mexico. Fay Crocker (switchboard operator) and Everett Sloan (radio disc jockey) discover a mysterious audio frequency in the story. The film was released on May 29, 2020 (United States).

Shirley – This is an American biographical drama film. Josephine Decker directed the film and screenplay by Sarah Gubbins. The story is based upon the 2014 novel of the same name by Susan Scarf Merrell. The cast includes Elisabeth Moss, Michael Stuhlbarg, Odessa Young, Logan Lerman. The film was released on January 25, 2020 (Sundance), June 5, 2020 (United States).

Bad Education – This is an American drama film. Cory Finley directed the film, and Mike Makowsky wrote the film. The film is based on the true story of the largest public school embezzlement in American Society. The film was released on April 25, 2020 (United States).

The Invisible Man – This is an American science fiction horror film. The film is directed and written by Leigh Whannell. The story is loosely based on the novel of the same name by H.G.Wells. This is a story about a woman who believes that a wealthy and abusive boyfriend is harassing her even after his apparent suicide and later concludes that he has gained the ability to become invisible. The film was released on February 27, 2020 (Australia) February 28 2020 (United States).
